Summary:
The Research Intern will work closely with Head of Research to provide analytical coverage on listed companies in Colombo Stock Exchange.

Job responsibilities:
• Research, collect, and analyze pertinent information from various sources, including online sources, newspapers, reference works, databases, etc

• Develop financial models including projections and valuations

• Prepare written research reports (including industry overviews, financial analysis etc)

• Summarize, organize and present research results and recommendations to Investment Advisors

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate program in Business, Accounting, or Economics or professional qualifications such as CIMA / ACCA / ICASL.

• Passion for equity research

• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

• Highly motivated, committed and responsible, with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office package

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
