We’re looking for a PR Executive to join our fast-growing agency. This is an exciting role for an ambitious, talented individual ready for a new challenge. Since we’re a small agency, you will be given lots of opportunities to work on several accounts, with support from senior colleagues and on-the-job training in a friendly environment. About the Role: - Maintain regular client contact: liaising with clients, managerial and journalistic staff about budgets, timescales and objectives - Generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client PR programmes are a success - Develop editorial – press releases, features, bios, etc. - Organising and attending promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits - Achieve maximum and qualitative press coverage of the client portfolio - Meeting and developing media contacts - Monitor and analysing media coverage About You: Strong communication (written, oral & listening) skills in English and Sinhala or Tamil. Creative and imaginative; Highly organised; Interest in current affairs and business news 1-2 years’ experience in a public relations or journalism role would be an advantage.
