WORK SCOPE

The selected candidate will responsible for design, implementation, configuration, handing over, maintenance, and troubleshooting ICT infrastructure projects, ELV systems, and enterprise solutions. 

He/She required to give an effective contribution to successfully complete the projects in network infrastructures (Including routing and switching technologies, QoS, VLAN), Information security and hardware firewall solutions, Wireless networking (Access/Backhaul), ELV Systems such as IP surveillance, IPTV, IP PABX , Servers and virtualization solutions, Storage solutions, Video Conferencing and IP Collaboration services, Copper (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a) and fiber optics (Single Mode OS1, OS2 and Multi-Mode OM2, OM3, OM4) inside and outside plant structured cabling system.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Bachelor's degree or a recognized higher diploma and equivalent qualification in the field of Information and Communication Technology, Networking, Telecommunication or similar industry.

Minimum of 1 1/2 years of work experience for associate engineer position and 3 years of work experience for an engineer position in a similar industry must.

Having a vendor certification and product experience on UBIQUITI (UEWA, UBWS, UBWA, UBRSS, UBRSA), CISCO (CCNA, CCNP), PLANET, HPE, MICROSOFT, FORTIGATE, CHECKPOINT, SOPHOS, etc is an advantage.

Should have skills on pre and post sales engineering support, engineering review, technical presentation and preparation of specifications/BoQ.

Should be a good listener, speaker and have an ability to understand and communicate with the customer in non-IT language to gather technical requirements, and presentations in both Sinhala and English language.

Basic understanding of project documentation (Scope of work, Project charter & timeline, Progress report, Project handover, As-built drawings, etc).

Should be able to maintain excellent customer support records and make them satisfied with the service you offer.

Planning, organizing, leadership skills and a higher level of project documentation skills required.

Ability to work under pressure and to achieve deadlines with multi-tasking capabilities.

Interest to travel all around the country, meet different peoples, work in different environments/ project sites. 

(Transport, lodging, meals resources, and other expenses will provide by the company)

Assign daily, tasks supervise civil workers, technicians to achieve project deliverables quantitatively and qualitatively.

Having a motor car or motorbike driving license will be an advantage.
