Position overview

In this role you will be responsible for the purchasing, profitability and maintenance of select product lines while maintaining a professional relationship with our suppliers and acting as a liaison for designated product lines. You will also monitor market conditions, product changes, price level changes and purchase products at the lowest total cost while improving the quality of designated product lines. In addition they are seeking someone who can make recommendations to the department for better results, which would include better methodologies, system improvements and streamlining procedures.

Essential Skills and Experience
• Minimum 03 years experience in Merchandizing with good exposure in order processing cycle.

• Process control and process improvement

• Planning and organization: the ability to plan and manage multiple projects

• Excellent communication and interpersonal and negotiation skills

• Computer skills — Word, Excel, MS Office

• Related work experience in the footwear industry is a plus

Salary: LKR 55,000 -75,000 Work Location: Colombo Work days: Monday - Friday
