Required

■ Record raw data into bookkeeping records and build up meaningful accounting information.

■ With all the bookkeeping/ account payable/ accounts receivable - "processing skills".

■ Conversant with steps to the finalization of month end and year end accounts. (provisions, accruals etc.)

■ Technically savvy and up to date with all the accounting rules/ changes. (including the adoption of FRS102, 105 and other UK standards)

■ IT literate

■ Familiarity in preparation of payroll

■ Computing all salary deductions including UK taxes

■ Preparation of VAT & other statutory returns

■ Familiar with UK VAT regulations
Qualifications

■ Part or Fully qualified in CIMA or ACCA or qualified ACA with part qualifications in CIMA or ACCA exams

■ Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar field
