JOB DESCRIPTION
• Discuss and coordinate on design specifications with designers, and convert their original models of garments into patterns.

• Determiner the best layout of pattern pieces to minimize waste of material and mark fabric accordingly.

• Examine sketches, sample articles, and design specifications to determine quantities, shapes, and sizes of pattern parts and to determine the amount of material or fabric required to make a product.

• Mark samples and finished patterns with information such as garment size, section, style, identification and sewing instructions.
JOB SPECIFICATION;
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position with sound technical background.

• Sound knowledge on Pattern Development and Pattern Grading from Garber/Lectra systerns.

• Should possess a sound education qualifications, preferably qualifications from a recognized institute relate to Pattern Development.

• Good Command of Communication Skills and Computer Literacy is a must.
